C.W. Tropicai GmbH was founded 2004 and is specialized on the import and development of organic certified coconut products.
TROPICAI is derived from the greek and means: “the suitable means for a turnaround/change”.
And coconut products are indeed suitable means for change for us – in the life of the producers, their families and communities.
Our goal is a change
from price focused alternating suppliers to long term partnerships
from profit maximizing to fair trade patterns
from commonly known products to new, innovative coconut products with added value in the country of origin
we import since 2005 from 2 suppliers, with whom we have built trustful and stable relationships.
Our first Fair Trade partner was Kokonut Pacific with high quality, handmade Virgin Coconut Oil from the Solomon Islands, an island group in the South Pacific.You can recognize the Virgin Coconut Oil from this project through this label:

Our second, longtime partner, is a coconut producer from the Philippines; this company has now, because of our suggestion, received the Ecocert Fair Trade certification for all its coconut products.We source a mild and excellent tasting Virgin Coconut Oil and all other coconut products from this supplier, like the gluten free coconut flour and the tasty and crunchy coconut chips.
We are constantly working together in our aim to develop good and innovative coconut products - coconuts provide a nearly inexhaustible ressource!
