The coconuts for our Tropicai organic coconut oil are harvested by Fair Trade peasant farmers, fresh and directly from naturally grown coconut palm trees. This requires much skill and know-how. Much care is taken in its manufacture. Every coconut undergoes a meticulous scrutiny before being opened. For this excellent virgin coconut oil, the coconut pulp is extracted manually, carefully dried and then cold pressed. Native coconut oil is a natural product and not refined, deodorized, hardened or bleached. The precious fatty acids and high content of lauric acid make this coconut oil a valuable cooking oil. Tropicai organic coconut oil has a fragrant and aromatic mildness and exceptionally delicate melting texture.
